Affordable Equipment Hire is a small family owned and operated business based in the northern suburbs in South Australia. Though based here, we service far and wide. We offer both pickup/ drop off and delivery services as far as Edwardstown (approximately 50km from our business premises in Munno Para). We endeavour to be friendly and patient and will show you how to use your equipment. We understand that sometimes hiring a piece of equipment can be daunting and want to be sure you are comfortable and confident before using it!


Why - As husband and wife with a young child, we found that working for others meant less time as a family. We started Affordable Equipment Hire in January 2022 with the idea of making home DIY and renovations more affordable for families. We found that our competitors had quite high prices, and we found it more worth it to us to purchase a tool than to hire it. This was an issue for affordability, space, and sustainability and then Affordable Equipment Hire was born.


Sustainability - One of the reasons Affordable Equipment Hire was created was sustainability. When we, a young family, was completing renovations projects in our first home, we found it cheaper or around the same price to buy a tool rather than to hire it. We thought this was absurd! We imagined wasted tools in landfill or sitting on a shelf never to be used again and thought that if tools were more affordable that would prevent so many tools going to waste. In the past we have purchased tools that we thought would be sought after. Instead, we now listen to our customers to find what they need and what is in demand. Each tool we have available is generally cheaper than our competitors, making them much more affordable. We aim to use non-toxic chemicals to clean tools.


Our Range – We have a range of different power tools, home renovation and DIY tools, cleaning equipment, and larger tools available on our Facebook page and website. We are constantly adding more to our catalogue and are doing our best to accommodate to what our clients are after.
